$5 Billion in Paid Commissions, New Car Incentive Program and Launch of Three Innovative New Products Announced at 2010 Global Conference

Recently we joined thousands of entrepreneurs at the 2010 Shaklee Global Conference in Anaheim, Calif. At the event, Shaklee Corporation announced that it has surpassed five billion dollars in commissions paid to its more than 1.2 million Shaklee Family Members worldwide.

The company also announced a new Car Incentive Program which will allow distributors to qualify for car bonuses that can be used to pay for a lease or purchase of a brand new car, with extra incentives for those who lease or purchase hybrid vehicles.

“Shaklee’s new rewards and compensation program perfectly aligns with our values by creating new opportunities for distributors to grow their business with tangible lifestyle and financial incentives,” said Barnett. “This program will also allow our distributors to touch more people and share the Shaklee opportunity of doing well by doing good. Shaklee introduced three brand new, innovative products: the Fiber Advantage Bar, Cholesterol Reduction Complex† and the Get Clean® Water pitcher.

The Fiber Advantage Bar delivers eight grams of heart-healthy fiber in a 120-calorie snack bar that is made from 100 percent natural ingredients. It contains no high fructose corn syrup and is gluten free and has a low glycemic index. Health experts recommend 20-35 grams of fiber per day for most people, yet the average American gets just 14 grams, according to national nutrition surveys.

Cholesterol Reduction Complex contains plant sterols and stanols, which are found in plants, grains, fruits and vegetables.  They have a chemical structure similar to cholesterol to help block the absorption of cholesterol and lower bad cholesterol (LDL) levels in the bloodstream. Gluten free Cholesterol Reduction Complex tablets contain no artificial flavors, sweeteners, colors or added preservatives.

The multi-patented Get Clean Water pitcher uses a solid block of carbon to filter and clean water.* Each Get Clean Water filter is certified to reduce contaminants from 80 gallons of water, twice as much as Brita® and PUR® pitcher filters, and each filter is made from sustainable coconut shell carbon using a zero-emission process. As the first pitcher with a refillable carbon-block filter system, Get Clean Water also reduces landfill waste.
