Welcome “Healthy” Into Your Home
What’s good for your home is also good for you. Here are some things you can do.
Get The Real Dirt On Clean. Watch this 4 Part YouTube Video presentation, about 27 total minutes.
Have a clean for all. Put on your gloves and get rid of all your household hazardous waste like paint, batteries, and cleaners. Please don’t toss this stuff in the garbage. Take to your local hazardous waste center.
Open your windows and let fresh air in.
Use essential oils instead of air fresheners.
Have living plants in your home. They can absorb harmful gases and help clean the air.
Avoid bedding treated with chemicals.
Use healthy paint. Choose low VOC paint. That new paint smell can be as nasty as it smells.
Use cleaners that are truly cleaner: Non-toxic, natural, biodegradable, concentrated, and hypoallergenic.
Install low-flush toilets. We did and it cut our water bill dramatically.
Turn off lights and appliances when you’re not using them.
These are just a few suggestions. You can probably come up with more.
